America Gazette publishes writing about gardening, home repair, cooking and running a household.

The site is written by four contributors who came to writing after doing the work they now write about. Roz Tate, Frank Dolan, Bea Lindqvist and Andre Whitcomb each spent years in a job that taught them the subject before they ever wrote a word about it. Their full backgrounds are on their author pages, including where they worked and for how long.

How we work

We write for readers who want a plain answer, not a sales pitch. Where a piece involves a number, a rule or a deadline, we cite the agency or the official source and we say when a figure is an estimate. Where we are not sure, we say that too.

We do not publish sponsored articles dressed up as editorial, and we do not accept payment to review a product favourably.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, write to us at [email protected] and tell us what and where. We correct errors in the article itself and note the change at the bottom.
